Tenor Saxophone: Some students, particularly those with larger hands or a preference for a deeper, jazzier sound, may eventually progress to tenor sax. We’re happy to discuss whether this might be right for your situation.

Every saxophone rental from AAA Band Rentals comes with everything you need to get started: a high-quality Yamaha, Jupiter, or Selmer saxophone—the very brands that most all teachers request!—along with mouthpiece, ligature, case, and initial reeds. We carefully maintain and inspect every instrument before it goes out, so you can trust you’re receiving an instrument that plays beautifully.

We offer an optional, but highly recommended, Rental Assurance Plan that protects you from costly repairs. Encounter a stuck key, bent rod, or worn pad? With the Rental Assurance Plan, top-tier maintenance and repairs are covered at no additional cost, letting your melodies flow uninterrupted. We want you focused on learning music, not worrying about instrument issues.

What if my child wants to quit after a few months?

No problem. Our month-to-month rental agreement means you can return the instrument anytime with 30 days’ notice. We understand that musical interests change, especially with young students.

Do I need to buy reeds and supplies separately?

We include a starter reed with your rental. As you progress, you’ll want to purchase additional reeds—we carry a full selection of reed brands and strengths, and our staff can recommend what’s right for your playing level.

What happens if something breaks?

Our optional Rental Assurance Plan covers repairs from normal playing wear and tear at no charge. Simply bring the instrument to either location, and we’ll get it fixed quickly so you’re not missing rehearsals or practice time.

How quickly can we get started?

Most families walk out with their saxophone the same day. We serve students from dozens of school districts and can typically process your rental in about 15 minutes. Call ahead if you’d like to confirm we have your preferred model in stock.
