Hello and welcome back! If you stopped in or called us and learned we were away during the holiday break, we're sorry for the inconvenience. But, we needed to take a breather and are back. . . feeling terrific, recharged and ready to get back into the swing of things. We have lots of really cool, new things happening in 2020! Here’s what we’ve been up to leading into the new year!
We are excited to now be the area’s Eastman Strings Dealership. No one will serve you better or provide better pricing on Eastman's entire line of Violins, Violas, Cellos, Basses or related accessories!
Excuse our appearance as we completely renovate our Norwalk offices and our online presence! We needed a facelift! So, over the next couple of weeks, if you stop in, you may see things . . . well, all over the place! However, we look forward to being able to serve you more efficiently and comfortably moving forward! Our website will be down for a short while. But the contact page will be monitored for quick responses to questions or issues! Additionally, call or text us anytime at 203-416-6359.
Just before Christmas, we hand-delivered thousands of dollars in credits to local teachers and programs all over Fairfield County as part of our 50/50 Giveback program that we started this year! We are so happy and proud to be able to give back to the local programs and teachers to help build the music programs that mean so much to so many in our community!
Our work at Bassick High School in Bridgeport culminated in a terrific Holiday concert! The musicians, (many playing in High School for the very first time), played beautifully and were proud to be a part of this exciting new program. With the help of AAA Band Rentals and many local donors headed by the Sky’s the Limit foundation (by Weston’s Martha Deegan), these kids are all playing instruments they can be proud of! 12 new Saxophones (Alto’s, Tenor, and even two Baritones were donated). Thanks to an outpouring of generosity, over 100 instruments have been donated by people all over Fairfield County and overhauled by our company! GO BASSICK!
Because music has played such an important roll in my life, I’ve made it my company’s mission to give a significant part of its earnings back to the programs throughout Fairfield County that need it most. The public education system is a terrific way to help a child to get started on their musical journey. Not every child will turn out to be a professional or even a proficient player. But, a strong music program can provide a child with a sense of belonging, dignity, responsibility and so much more.
I’m proud to say that this year alone, AAA Band Rentals donated over 100 instruments and many more free repairs to schools throughout Fairfield County including in Norwalk, Monroe, and Bridgeport. We sincerely hope that our efforts to support these programs help to get kids who might not otherwise have the wherewithal to play, a chance to experience a lifetime of joy that playing a musical instrument can provide!
